Our sustainability path

Since 2022, REHAU Automotive has operated its production sites worldwide exclusively with electricity from renewable energies. This is a major step towards our declared goal of reducing the emissions of our products to zero by 2030. The next major milestone on the way to achieving this goal is to reduce our Scope 1 emissions to zero on our balance sheet. Due to the energy supply emergency prevailing in 2022 and the massive increase in energy and gas prices over the last 15 months, we have decided to postpone the achievement of this milestone to 2027 (previously 2025). What hasn't changed is our commitment to sustainability and the goal of being one of the first in the industry to offer zero balance sheet emissions of our products globally in 2030.
